Florence here we come!

 Our last morning in Rome we went to a different little cafe for breakfast, which we wished we would have found sooner. By the way did I mention that cappuccinos are 1.50 euros? We made it to the train station no problem, now just waiting for the train to arrive. Train is here off we go with all our luggage in hand. Trains always leave on time so heave ho that luggage up! Ugh! Train ride was only an hour, great to take a little rest. 

We arrived in Florence , off the train, got our 2 taxis and off to our new apartment. All checked in. Now can you say SHOPPING! My motto has always been “Born to shop”. Kylie’s motto on this trip has been “treat yourself 2024” and that is what we did! First day we spent shopping, walking around , going to the Duomo. Eating and more shopping! 

Of course we visited the David and we couldn’t miss the wine window and going to Mazzetta street!

Kylie had a friend who had recommended a leather shop which we were able to find. Well we all made purchases! Oh my! 

I’m not going to tell who has made the most purchases in Florence, you’ll have to guess!

We have not had a bad meal since arriving in Italy! All the food has been so fresh. Tables always set with white table cloths and cloth napkins. Full set of silverware and wine and water glasses , whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. The service is like no other, we are getting so spoiled!
